“As the procession from the Abbey to Buckingham Palace came to an end there was a huge surge in demand for electricity as the equivalent of one million kettles were switched on.” —

What a day! I’ve been up since the wee hours of the morning watching the royal wedding. The wedding was amazing! I thought everything was perfect and what made it even more special was how much Will & Kate love each other, don’t you agree? It almost felt like it was a Disney movie and little blue birds should appear around Kate, I’m a romantic, deal with it! Here’s to the happy couple! And here’s this week according to Hilary. Enjoy!

The dress! Sarah Burton did an amazing job with Kate’s dress- the dress

Since watching the wedding, I want more hats in my life- put on hat on it

It may be New York but London is calling!

“Guess who liked to make home movies of his schoolmates? Chris Penn, brother of Sean. Guess who Chris’s best friend was? Charlie Sheen. Guess what Charlie’s father, Martin, had been doing? Having a meltdown while making “Apocalypse Now” for Francis Ford Coppola. Guess who Mr. Coppola would put in “The Outsiders,” his 1983 teen-rebel movie that launched a whole generation of future dreamboats? The whole neighborhood, Mr. Lowe included.” —

He’s Handsome. (You Noticed?) but Not Just.- nytimes

Rob Lowe’s book “Stories I Only Tell My Friends” will be my mother’s day present to my mum because the very mention of his name makes my mum swoon… i have to agree with her, he’s almost too good looking, if that’s even a thing….

“With every new dabbling achievement, she digs herself further and further down the rabbit hole of Internet scorn. If another star, say Sandra Bullock, were to abandon her main career and take up cooking, blogging, and singing, she might be admired for expanding her horizons and for trying new things. But Gwyneth Paltrow is mercilessly mocked just about every time she opens her mouth or does anything at all. Why does she inspire such derision? And can she ever win the public and media over?” —go away, gwyneth paltrow!
